Firefighters

I just realized that I hadn't posted these pictures from the last week of term.

We had some firefighters that came in and set up an obstacle course for the kids. They got to wear some of the clothing and even use the hose.

Maths - geometry

Term 2 has started and we are back into our learning! For the next few weeks we are looking at shapes. Today we had to follow instructions and create a turtle out of shapes then we explored the different shape activities in the classroom.

Maths - measurement

These are a few photos from the other day when children were measuring different things using finger prints, hands and feet. We learnt about making estimations and that we couldn't leave any spaces between each measurement.
