Writing clues

On Thursday we pretended to be pirates and create clues to describe something we saw outside. To get into character we first made pirate hats and then went for a walk outside to find something we could create clues for. Some children made clues for trees, the rugby posts, moon hoppers and birds.

Writing

Last week I brought some pea pods into class and gave the children some clues to try and guess what I had brought in. We then did a feely bag activity where they had to guess what it was by touch only. They then got their own pea pod to use the senses of touch, taste, sight and sound to describe the pea pod.
