100 day party

We have been eagerly waiting for our 100 days at school and decided to celebrate with a pj pizza popcorn party!!! The children looked great in their pjs and we had lots of fun. We were so busy I kept forgetting to take photos but I got a few. We did 100 day maths, P.E, made pizzas, made crowns, I surprised them all with some aged photos of themselves and we talked about being 100 and what that would be like.

Counting in twos

For our maths warm up this week we are practicing counting in twos forwards and backwards up to 20 then 50 then 100!! These you tube clips have been fantastic in helping us. You can have a practice at home now too.

ANZAC school ceremony

Last week we had a lovely little ANZAC service at school on the Friday to remember our fallen - Lest we forget.

Don't let the pigeon drive the bus!

This week we learnt about persuasive writing. 

We watched a you tube clip based on the book 'Don't let the pigeon drive the bus!' where the pigeon tries to persuade us to let him drive the bus. After watching it we had to come up with reasons why the pigeon should not drive the bus. Feel free to pop in and read your child's stories in the morning or after school.
