Subtraction Games

On Monday and Tuesday this week we played some subtraction games at maths time. We played subtraction tick tack toe, used flashcards, around the world with subtraction facts and subtraction races.

These photos are of us playing subtraction races. Children were put into 2 teams and then I called out a subtraction problem and they would run to the front of the class and write the answer. First team to answer correctly won a point. We ended this game with both teams winning!!
